Please read these terms carefully
Job Scout Malawi helps users discover opportunities, but important vacancy details should always be confirmed through the original employer or source.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using Job Scout Malawi, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, you should stop using the platform.
These terms apply to visitors, job seekers, employers, organisations, and anyone who submits or accesses information through the platform.
2. About the service
Job Scout Malawi collects, organises, normalises, and displays employment opportunities from public sources and from opportunities submitted directly to the platform.
The platform may provide search tools, job alerts, profile analysis, job matching, career guidance, summaries, and other features intended to help users discover relevant opportunities.
Job Scout Malawi is an information and career-discovery platform. It is not an employer, recruitment agency, or representative of the organisations whose opportunities appear on the platform unless explicitly stated.
3. Job information and accuracy
We aim to present accurate and useful job information, but vacancies may originate from third-party websites, employers, organisations, or automated collection systems.
Job descriptions, application deadlines, requirements, locations, salaries, and application instructions may change without notice. Users should verify important information through the original vacancy source before applying.
The presence of a vacancy on Job Scout Malawi does not mean that we endorse, verify, or guarantee the employer, organisation, vacancy, or application process.
4. External websites
Some vacancies link to external websites, application portals, email addresses, social platforms, or documents that are not controlled by Job Scout Malawi.
We are not responsible for the content, security, availability, privacy practices, or actions of external websites. Users access external services at their own discretion.
5. Applications and recruitment decisions
Job Scout Malawi does not submit job applications on behalf of users unless a future feature explicitly states otherwise.
Users are responsible for preparing, reviewing, and submitting their own application documents and for ensuring that the information they provide to employers is truthful and accurate.
We do not guarantee interviews, employment, responses from employers, or any particular recruitment outcome.
6. AI-assisted features
Some features may use artificial intelligence to organise job posts, extract information, compare vacancies with user profiles, explain potential matches, summarise descriptions, or suggest profile and CV improvements.
AI-generated results may contain mistakes, omit relevant information, or interpret information differently from an employer. They should be treated as guidance rather than professional, legal, or recruitment advice.
Users should review original vacancy information and make their own decisions before applying or changing important application documents.
7. User responsibilities
Users must not misuse the platform, attempt to interfere with its operation, introduce malicious software, access restricted systems, scrape the platform in a harmful manner, impersonate another person, or use the service for unlawful activity.
Users must not knowingly provide false, misleading, discriminatory, fraudulent, or harmful information.
Users are responsible for keeping their account credentials secure when account functionality is available.
8. Posting or submitting opportunities
Anyone submitting a vacancy confirms that they are authorised to provide the information and that the opportunity is genuine, lawful, and accurately described.
Submitted opportunities must not request unlawful payments, promote fraudulent recruitment, discriminate unlawfully, misrepresent an organisation, or expose applicants to unnecessary risk.
Job Scout Malawi may review, edit for formatting, reject, suspend, or remove submitted opportunities without prior notice when necessary to protect users or maintain platform quality.
Submitting an opportunity does not guarantee publication.
9. Intellectual property
The Job Scout Malawi name, platform design, software, branding, original written content, and related assets belong to their respective owners and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.
Job descriptions, company names, logos, and third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.
10. Service availability
We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue parts of the platform for maintenance, security, technical, legal, or operational reasons.
We do not guarantee that the platform will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors.
11. Limitation of responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Job Scout Malawi is not responsible for losses resulting from reliance on inaccurate vacancy information, missed deadlines, fraudulent third parties, external websites, recruitment decisions, service interruptions, or user actions.
Nothing in these terms excludes responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the platform, its features, or applicable requirements change.
The updated version will be published on this page together with a revised effective date. Continued use of the platform after an update means that the new terms apply.
